The Fledgling Assassin tells the story of a teenage girl who feels like she doesn’t understand others – except for the ruthless assassin who kidnaps her, that is.
The main story will be told in the book The Fledgling Assassin, expected to be released in Q4 2023.
Jennifer is an unassuming high school girl who has trouble understanding the people around her and feels like she doesn’t belong. However, when her police detective dad comes a little too close to catching a notorious assassin nicknamed The Winged Death, he kidnaps the girl and threatens her father to leave him alone – only for both perpetrator and victim to realize Jennifer may fit into the role of assassin better than she ever fit into her normal life.
Halfway through the story, the main characters end up stuck in the desert together. Even though they’d rather no one ever found out what happened during that period, we’re going to disregard their wishes and share this part of their story in the Good Boy, Nice Girl webcomic.
We’re also working on a song referring to the main character, called The Tale of the Fledgling Assassin.
