Jennifer, an unassuming high school girl who has trouble understanding the people around her and who feels like she doesn’t belong.
The Winged Death, a notorious assassin who avoids connecting with people and who has just about had enough of the police detective on his heels.
While he gets the detective off his back by kidnapping his daughter, it’s not long before both he and Jennifer realize she fits better into his world than she ever did in her own…

The main story is told in the book The Fledgling Assassin, which was released in October 10th 2026.
Halfway through the story, the main characters end up stuck in the desert together. Even though they’d rather no one ever found out what happened during that period, we’re going to disregard their wishes and share this part of their story in the Good Boy, Nice Girl webcomic.
There’s also a song about the main character called The Tale of the Fledgling Assassin.
